Paris Saint-Germain is coming into this UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals, having eliminated FC Barcelona and put to rest the Remontada ghost that hung over this club. Then the French giants take care of business against the reigning European Champions and the team that defeated them in the final last year, FC Bayern Munich.
Heading into the matchup against Manchester City, Mauricio Pochettino spoke at a press conference, discussing how his squad feels after eliminating Bayern Munich and whether that provides any momentum for PSG heading into this first leg versus the English club.
Canal Supporters relayed the comments made by the Argentine tactician.
“We are doing things step by step, also because we have arrived during the season,” Pochettino said. “We had to apprehend Barcelona first, then Bayern then, it was two very different matches. The Champions League is one of the most important competitions in the world. The players love to play it and work hard to get to this level. City is doing a great job, but we are confident and respectful.”
