Video: Kevin De Bruyne Discusses Manchester City’s Win Over PSG

Kevin De Bruyne was one of the Manchester City players to take advantage of the mental mistakes made by Paris Saint-Germain. Whether the midfielder intended to cross or shoot the ball, it ended up in the back of the net as Keylor Navas failed to react to stop it.

After the match, De Bruyne spoke to RMC Sport, where he discussed the two different halves that they faced considering they withstood PSG’s best punch in those first 45 minutes.

“We saw that there were two teams with a lot of qualities. The first period was for them, the second for us. We know that PSG has a lot of qualities with their attacking players and in the middle, we struggled to put the pressure on in the first half, but we succeeded then. We score twice, that’s good, ” De Bruyne said.

“We weren’t patient with the ball early in the game, we wanted to play too fast, and that’s not our game. Our game is to wait, to keep possession, to find the right time, the right space. We know that nothing is settled for the return. We got a good result but with the qualities of Paris, it will be difficult next week. But I have confidence in the strengths of my team.”
