It’s been a few months since Paris Saint-Germain hired Mauricio Pochettino to replace Thomas Tuchel. The Argentine tactician now has a feel for the squad and can compare his current position with the capital club to the previous job with Tottenham Hotspur.
During Pochettino’s press conference with the French media, the 49-year-old answered a question to compare both positions for PSG and Spurs and whether there are any similarities between the two jobs.
Canal Supporters would relay the comments from Pochettino.
“If we have to see a similarity between the two jobs, it is the number of matches played in a limited period. It is something difficult. It’s hard to find parallels between the two because today there is a pandemic,” Pochettino said.
“The influence it can have in teams is different. We know that this affects the physical condition of the players but we do not yet know the physical consequences on them.”
