Paris Saint-Germain is celebrating its 50th anniversary this season but remains a young club compared to the European giants like Real Madrid, FC Bayern Munich, and Liverpool FC. Nonetheless, that isn’t to say they haven’t had quality players come through their club.
Ronaldinho, George Weah, Pauleta, and other quality players have worn the Parisien colors before the infusion of money from Qatar Sports Investment. Ahead of the matchup against Manchester City, Neymar Jr. spoke at a press conference discussing how much more PSG can grow.
Canal Supporters relayed the comments made by the 29-year-old.
“Yes, PSG has grown a lot, and they are progressing more and more. It is not for nothing that it is one of the best clubs,” Neymar said. “We are at the gates of the Champions League. Last season, we finished second. PSG has made a lot of progress, and we will continue to make it progress further.”
