Chelsea defender Thiago Silva gave his appreciation to the continual attacking improvements made by Kylian Mbappe as of late.
Over the years, Mbappe has grown to become one of the top forwards in football today. The Paris Saint-Germain forward continues to score in critical matches and has gradually shown improvements as a playmaking forward.
Silva knows just the extent of Mbappe’s potential as the defender played with the French forward for multiple seasons while at PSG. And now watching from afar with Chelsea, Silva remains impressed with Mbappe’s overall play.
Silva spoke further to TNT Sports Brasil about the PSG star.
“The way I see it, Mbappe is improving and growing every season now,” Silva said. “He is a very young kid who won the World Cup at a very young age and does not let it all get to his head. He is very conscious.”
Silva faced off against Mbappe during the forward’s early days with AS Monaco. These two could soon meet once again in the upcoming Champions League final if PSG and Chelsea both go on to win their respective semifinal ties. Both players are still looking for that illustrious first career Champions League trophy.
