Report: PSG’s Projected Starting 11 for the Champions League Quarter-Final First Leg Fixture Against Bayern Munich

As has been the case for many of its high-profile fixtures so far this season, Paris Saint-Germain comes into its UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg fixture against Bayern Munich without several key players due to multiple reasons.

For instance, Marco Verratti (coronavirus), Alessandro Florenzi (coronavirus) and Leandro Paredes (yellow card suspension) will all miss this fixture against Bayern.

Still, as noted by UEFA’s official website, here is how PSG may line up against Bayern.

Navas; Kehrer, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Diallo; Gueye, Danilo; Neymar, Mbappé, Di María; Kean

With PSG heading into this fixture without two key midfielders, Danilo Pereira may end up having hefty responsibilities in the attack and defense.

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will be playing in their first Champions League knockout stage fixture of this season. PSG sure will need the two to have their way against Bayern’s defensive line.

More so, Keylor Navas will be relied upon to have another career showing against Bayern.

PSG is expected to be in for a grand tactical battle against the current Bundesliga leaders.
