There’s another update on the Neymar Jr. contract talks as it appears though both the player and Paris Saint-Germain have reached a deal. According to Italian Football Journalist Fabrizio Romano, the capital club and 29-year-old have agreed to a contract extension.
Romano makes a few points in his tweet. The first is that the extension between Neymar and Les Parisiens struck a deal a few weeks ago. Furthermore, the football journalist adds that all that needs to happen is for Neymar to sign the contract in the coming days.
Once the Brazil international puts pen to paper, the French giants have a significant plan in place to announce the new contract. Roman does reveal that Neymar will have a huge bonus should PSG win the UEFA Champions League.
The reported deal will keep Neymar in Paris until 2026, keeping the forward with the capital club for the remaining years of his prime. After a few weeks of teasing, it appears as though the deal will finally get announced.
