Official Lineup: Paredes Returns to PSG’s Starting 11 for the Champions League Return Fixture Against Bayern Munich

Paris Saint-Germain has one foot into the UEFA Champions League semifinals thanks to its 3-2 quarterfinal first leg win over Bayern Munich. But the job is not done yet for PSG, as it will host Bayern Munich in the second leg of the tie.

PSG and Bayern come into this fixture with multiple players out due to injury. They each have the depth to still roll out a formidable starting 11.

For PSG, here is the starting lineup that it has elected to go with for this match.

Keylor Navas was a minor doubt for this fixture after he was subbed off during PSG’s recent Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg due to an apparent injury. Still, Navas will start against Bayern Munich, and he sure will look to put together an encore performance from the first leg of the tie.

Marquinhos is unavailable for this fixture due to an adductor injury. PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has thus decided to go with Danilo Pereira to start out at the center-back position.

Leandro Paredes missed PSG’s first leg fixture against Bayern due to a yellow card suspension. The Argentine midfielder is available for this fixture, and he has made PSG’s starting 11 for it.

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe shined for PSG in the first leg of the tie and will aim for a superb showing in the second leg as they look to clinch PSG a spot in the semifinals of this competition.

PSG essentially comes into this match with a two-goal lead thanks to the away goals rule.
