Paris Saint-Germain signed Keylor Navas with the goal of having him help the side in the UEFA Champions League competition. So far, this move has paid off.
Navas played a key role in PSG’s run to the Champions League final last season along with its run to the semifinals of this season’s competition thanks to his key showings against Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Navas continues to show that he is among the greatest goalkeepers in Champions League history. As noted by the UEFA Champions League’s official Twitter account, Navas has never lost a two-legged tie in this competition.
The Costa Rican was Real Madrid’s starting goalkeeper over its Champions League three-peat from the 2015/2016 season to the 2017/2018 campaign. And as mentioned, Navas has won all three of his Champions League two-legged knockout stage ties with PSG so far.
Navas will now aim to guide PSG to a second straight appearance in the Champions League final.
