Ander Herrera still remains confident that Paris Saint-Germain will end up keeping both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
The clock continues to tick regarding the futures of Neymar and Mbappe at PSG. Both players will become free agents next year when their active contract with the club expires. Even though the two star talents have expressed positive feelings about PSG, they each have yet to sign off on a new contract extension deal with the club.
As of late, many PSG players have voiced their confidence that the two stars will stay put at the club. Now, Herrera became the latest such player to chime in on these contract extension dilemmas, which he spoke about during his talk with the Spanish-based outlet Marca.
“I want to focus on enjoying every day with them and achieving important things together,” Herrera said. “And of course I want them to stay with us. PSG has created a structure around them to fulfill all their footballing ambitions. I sincerely believe that they are happy, convinced of this project and that they want to stay.”
Meanwhile, for Herrera, the Spanish midfielder is locked into a contract with PSG for multiple more seasons. The PSG talent remains as a vital rotational player for the team in its midfield setup.
