Paris Saint-Germain picked up a 4-1 first-leg at the Camp Nou in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup against FC Barcelona. Next week, the two will meet at the Parc des Princes for the second-leg. However, one French football pundit cautiously warns the capital club of having one eye already in the quarterfinals.
L’Equipe’s Sebastien Tarrago appeared on L’Equipe d’Estelle, where he warned the PSG squad to remain focus on the task at hand and not allow for a Barça comeback, who recently came back in their Copa del Rey semi-final matchup against Sevilla FC.
“Should Paris fear a comeback? I tell myself that if Paris is not afraid of a comeback then it will happen,” Tarrago said. “I hope that at PSG we do not pretend to imagine that the qualification is already acquired. He absolutely has to prepare to play a difficult European Cup match otherwise disaster will happen.”
