Mauro Icardi came into Paris Saint-Germain’s Coupe de France fixture against Lille on a notable goal-scoring drought. Over his last six matches in all competitions, Icardi failed to score a single goal, although he did chip in for an assist against OGC Nice.
Now, Icardi finally has his long-awaited goal.
The Argentine scored the opener for PSG against Lille. Angel Di Maria sent in a sublime goal-scoring pass into the penalty box and Icardi did the rest by scoring a tap-in goal within seconds.
