As Paris Saint-Germain embarks on a busy schedule where their opponents include Olympique Lyonnais, Lille OSC, and FC Bayern Munich, the capital club will see their best player’s arrival to its squad. After missing over a month due to an adductor muscle injury, Neymar Jr. is ready to return to the lineup.
During his press conference, PSG midfielder Marco Verratti discussed the return of Neymar to their squad, especially at a crucial time. Canal Supporters relayed the 28-year-old’s comments over his teammate.
“I still find him very strong. It’s Ney. Even if he’s three or four or five weeks away, he’s pretty much always the best in training. He’s a technically amazing player, and he doesn’t lose anything,” Verratti said.
“We are delighted to see him again. I think he’s the most important player for us. He brings a lot of confidence to the team. I hope he will quickly regain his optimal form to help us at the end of the season.”
