Danilo Pereira is not a player who Paris Saint-Germain would typically rely on to get off shot attempts while in the opponent’s defensive third. But when such an opportunity presented itself in PSG’s Ligue 1 fixture against Olympique Lyonnais, the Portuguese international made the most out of his golden chance.
Pereira doubled PSG’s lead over Lyon late in the first half. Defensive miscues from Lyon hurt the side once again, as a failure to clear possession out of its own penalty box allowed for Pereira to take on an unmarked shot attempt.
Pereira finished off the attempt for his second league goal of the season.
