The Stats Behind Draxler’s Ligue 1 Performance Against Nantes

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler was provided with another key opportunity by manager Mauricio Pochettino as the German earned a start in the team’s Ligue 1 fixture against Nantes.

Draxler was arguably the most impactful attacking player in the match. For one, the German midfielder scored PSG’s lone goal of the contest, which came off of a first-time shot attempt inside the penalty box.

Draxler also completed 30 passes, created two goal-scoring chances, logged two interceptions, and notched a dribble attempt.

It was an overall quality performance from Draxler, which was much-needed as he continues to make the most out of his recent playing time opportunities.

Draxler could end up earning minutes in PSG’s upcoming Coupe de France showdown against Lille OSC.
