The countdown continues for Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg fixture against FC Barcelona.
Ahead of the fixture, PSG officials have carried on with their day-by-day evaluation of Neymar’s adductor injury. One recent report noted that PSG is not yet leaning one way towards his availability against Barca but that the club remains hopeful of such a return.
On the other side, Neymar’s representatives are growing in confidence that the forward will indeed be fit enough to play in the Champions League return fixture against the Catalan powerhouse, according to a report from L’Equipe.
Neymar’s progress from his injury continues to go well, per the report. More so, the Brazilian forward has continued to avoid any setbacks regarding the adductor injury.
PSG will continue to keep a close watch on Neymar’s rehab process and come to a final decision on his return to action relatively soon.
