Report: Neymar Has Committed to an Extensive Recovery Program in Order to Possibly Return for the Barcelona Fixture

Paris Saint-Germain continues to closely monitor Neymar’s left adductor injury. The Brazilian suffered the injury during the recent Coupe de France fixture against Caen. Since then, Neymar has missed multiple fixtures because of the injury, including the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg match against Barcelona.

However, Neymar is doing what he can to possibly be back in time for the return fixture against Barca.

As Isabela Pagliari noted to Europe 1 (via Le10Sport), Neymar is currently taking a different approach to his recovery from the injury.

Not only is Neymar rehabbing the adductor injury, but he also recently committed to a diet for five days, per the report.

Neymar has also been using an oxygen mask in an effort to help his muscles recover at a quicker pace. The Brazilian recently posted to Instagram a picture of himself using the oxygen mask.

The Brazilian has not yet had any reported setbacks regarding his current injury recovery progress. But at the moment, there has been no official word yet as to his possible availability to feature against the Catalan powerhouse in the second leg of the Champions League tie.
