PSG Mercato: Spanish Media Outlet States Contract Talks Between Paris SG and Kylian Mbappé Aren’t Heading in Positive Direction

The saga surrounding the contract extension between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé continues. With June approaching, the capital club will need to decide whether they can extend the 22-year-old or cash in on their superstar and sell him.

According to Spanish media outlet Marca, discussions between the French giants and Mbappé haven’t made positive progress. Furthermore, the report states that the France international wants to feel like the leader of a project rather than being the sidekick, which he might feel playing next to Neymar Jr.

This information needs to be taken with a grain of salt, considering the Spanish media is known for peddling news for the two biggest clubs in Spain, FC Barcelona, and Real Madrid. Nonetheless, it’s common knowledge that if both parties can’t reach an agreement on an extension, they’ll need to sell.

With June fast approaching, the thought of Mbappé departing the French capital is becoming a reality for PSG.
