PSG Mercato: Italian Media Outlet Claims Juventus Eyes Mauro Icardi as Possible Replacement for Paulo Dybala

After crashing out in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, Juventus FC is ready to make drastic changes to its squad.

The Italian side is reportedly looking to move on from Paulo Dybala, and so it would leave a hole at forward for the Turn-based club. Juventus has long shown interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Mauro Icardi.

Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport reports that the Old Lady could sell Dybala as the 27-year-old is underperforming and has one more year left on his contract. Rather than losing Dybala for free, they’ll sell and use the funds to purchase Icardi from the capital club.

There are no further details concerning Juventus’ interest in Icardi. However, there will be other clubs in Italy as AC Milan and AS Roma have show interest.

After arriving from Inter Milan on loan, Les Parisiens made Icardi’s stay a permanent one when they activated his option to buy clause. In 51 appearances for the French giants, the 28-year-old has 26 goals.
