PSG Draws Bayern Munich in the Champions League Quarterfinals

Paris Saint-Germain is through to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals after their Round of 16 victory over FC Barcelona. The capital club is looking to make its way back to the final, which will occur in İstanbul, Turkey.

Les Parisiens will now need to defeat FC Bayern Munich to reach the semifinal for the second year in a row. The Bavarian club broke PSG supporters’ hearts last year when they defeated the French club in the Champions League final.

The first leg against Bayern Munich will occur on April 6th-7th; meanwhile, the second leg will take place the following week on the 13th-14th.

For the French giants, it’s essential to have Neymar Jr. for both of these fixtures; the 29-year-old is the creator and motor to the PSG attack. Mauricio Pochettino’s side was able to survive without their star forward against Barça.

However, as PSG moves forward in this competition, they can’t have Neymar miss any more time since they’ll need him to get past Bayern Munich.
