Neymar and Sarabia Will Miss PSG’s Coupe de France Fixture Against Lille Due to Injury

Paris Saint-Germain will be without Neymar and Pablo Sarabia for its upcoming Coupe de France fixture against Lille due to their respective injuries, the club announced on its official website.

Neymar remains out due to his adductor injury. The Brazilian has been taking part in individual training sessions as of late and remains on track to soon join up with the rest of his teammates in collective training.

The focus for PSG now turns to whether Neymar will be available to face Olympique Lyonnais up next in a Ligue 1 fixture. If the PSG star will not be ready to go for this upcoming match, then the attention will turn towards his potential availability for the Champions League quarterfinals beginning early next month.

Pablo Sarabia will also go on to miss PSG’s match against Lille as he is dealing with a slight right hip injury.

PSG’s upcoming two matches against Lille and Lyon could end up being season-defining ones at this point in the ongoing domestic campaign.
