‘I Think They Are Happy in Paris’ — Former PSG Manager Emery on the Futures of Neymar and Mbappe at the Club

Former Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery provided his take on the futures of both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe with the French powerhouse.

Neymar and Mbappe remain in contract extension dilemmas with the club. Neither has officially come to terms on a new deal with PSG, even though they both are slated to become free agents next year.

Even though Emery only managed both Neymar and Mbappe for a mere one season while at PSG, he knows the two quite well. As he detailed to the Cadena Ser show “El Larguero” (via AS), Emery sees that the two could very well remain at PSG due to one reason.

“Mbappe and Neymar will be where they are happy,” Emery said. “I think they are happy in Paris.”

Emery is currently in the midst of his managerial run with Villarreal. As he is well familiar with La Liga, Emery could see that the two would do well in the Spanish league today.

“But in Spain, they would also find good conditions and a very good championship,” Emery said.”

The speculation will certainly continue to ramp up regarding the futures of Neymar and Mbappe at PSG.
