Video: Mauricio Pochettino on Whether PSG Feels Less Pressure to Play Neymar in the Return-Leg Against Barça

After their 4-1 first-leg victory over FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie, some suggest Paris Saint-Germain shouldn’t rush Neymar Jr. for the return-leg next month at the Parc des Princes.

The 29-year-old is out four weeks with an adductor injury, which caused him to miss the first fixture against his former club. Nonetheless, manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the media, where Canal Supporters relayed his words over Neymar’s progress and whether or not they’ll decide to take their time with his injury.

“Neymar is following the program set up by the medical sector,” Pochettino said. “What we want is the well-being of our players. We hope he can recover in the best possible shape. All of this is independent of the result and the match.”
