Video: Layvin Kurzawa Discusses PSG’s Champions League Victory Over Barça

Paris Saint-Germain is a week removed from its victory over FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Layvin Kurzawa interviewed with the club’s official website, which they shared on various social media platforms.

One of the first questions that Kuzawa answered is over the squad bouncing back from surrendering the first goal against Barça. Furthermore, he discussed his involvement in Kylian Mbappé’s first goal.

“I didn’t need to do that center for it to be erased. After the penalty, I refocused on the game and tried to make sure I got the team right. It is true that the pass for Marco Verratti, who then gives to Kylian, allowed us to equalize. So I’m glad I was able to bring this ball to Marco for Kylian’s equalizer,” Kurzawa said.

Finally, the 28-year-old spoke about the victory and what it meant to the squad to head into the Camp Nou to pick up a favorable result.

“Before the game, I felt that all the players were extremely motivated and focused,” Kurzawa said. “There was this very strong, collective will to do something good to seek this result. We had an extraordinary meeting, a successful match. We played the first period there, which we won, and the second will be at the Parc. We will have to ensure.”
