PSG Mercato: Turkish Club Is Consdering Making a Contract Proposal Towards Julian Draxler

Julian Draxler’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire in June, and the 27-year-old is looking at his options as he plans out his future.

Various clubs around Europe are vying for the German international, which includes Turkey’s Galatasaray SK. According to Fotomaç (via Canal Supporters), the Turkish club is working on sending a proposal to Draxler in the coming days.

Since arriving in 2017, Draxler has made 156 appearances for the French giants, where he’s scored 23 goals and registered 34 assists. Draxler came to Paris, and it appeared to be a good match. However, the player got lost in the shuffle after the arrival of Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé.

Despite many believing that Draxler is heading out the door at the end of this season, PSG sporting director Leonardo did leave the door open for a possible extension. Many thought Layvin Kurzawa was out the door before he agreed to renew his contract and remain in Paris.

Perhaps Draxler sees the same fate, considering he enjoys living in the city.
