Kean Made Champions League History During Fixture Against Barcelona

Kylian Mbappe was the star for Paris Saint-Germain in its UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash against Barcelona. However, PSG did have multiple other standout performers in the match.

Among them was Moise Kean, who scored the pivotal third goal of the match. This goal for the Italian talent was his third in Champions League play so far this season.

More so, as noted by Opta, the 20-year-old Kean became the third-youngest Italian goal-scorer in Champions League knockout stage history. This puts him became Nicolo Zaniolo (AS Roma) and Nicola Ventola (Inter Milan) in this list.

Kean remains one of the more reliable attacking contributors for PSG over this season. The Italian continues to quietly score key goals for the club in all competitions, which has been much-needed considering the team’s noteworthy injuries so far this season.

As of late, Kean has scored in three straight matches in three different club competitions.
