If there is one player who Paris Saint-Germain talents can go to for advice on facing FC Barcelona, it is goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
PSG will square off against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg tomorrow. There are plenty of storylines to look forward to with the fixture, including on how Navas will perform against Barca.
Navas has faced off against Barca a combined 13 times in his career from his runs with La Liga sides Real Madrid and Levante. Over these 13 fixtures, he allowed a total of 28 goals and recorded a mere one clean sheet, which came in a 2017 Spanish Super Cup fixture.
Navas has had his highs and lows against Barca. For instance, Lionel Messi scored an iconic game-winning goal against Navas and Real Madrid in a La Liga match back in 2017.
On the other hand, Navas has had quite a number of top saves against the Barca star.
Now, Navas will face his old foe for the 14th time in his career. The other 13 duels came in Spanish domestic competitions, so this upcoming Champions League fixture against the Catalan powerhouse will be more special.
PSG will certainly need the best out of Navas for this showdown.
