Paris Saint-Germain came out as more of the aggressors in the Trophee des Champions final against Olympique de Marseille. PSG had two goals disallowed in the first half as a result of being offside, but finally, the team was able to capitalize on a key score for the early lead.
In his second game back from injury, it was Mauro Icardi who gave PSG the lead in the final. He was not able to connect on the header attempt but scored on the effortless open goal attempt to put PSG up 1-0.
