Report: PSG in Discussions With Everton to Sign Kean on a Permanent Transfer Deal

Paris Saint-Germain is currently in the midst of early talks with Everton to sign Moise Kean on a permanent transfer deal, according to a report from the English-based outlet Sky Sports.

Kean is currently at the halfway point of his season-long loan move with PSG. He is scheduled to return to Everton at the end of the season, but PSG would like to keep the Italian forward and prolong his stay with the club.

As noted by Sky Sports, PSG has begun negotiations with Everton for the permanent signature of Kean. At the moment, early discussions have set the potential move at a £31 million transfer fee.

Everton would be interested in parting ways with Kean as long as it would be able to haul in much of the £27 million that it shelled out to Juventus over the 2019 summer transfer window for the forward.

It is currently unknown whether these talks have an aim to being completed over the upcoming winter transfer window or until the summer window. This could prove to be vital as teams such as Juventus have shown reported interest in making a push to sign Kean over the summer window later this year.

Kean has been a top performer for the club in all competitions so far this season. The Italian forward is scoring goals in both Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League play.
