Neymar Will Miss 5th Straight Fixture Due to Ankle Injury

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar will once against be out for a fixture as the club has ruled him out from its upcoming home match against Brest, the club announced on its official website.

Neymar is still in the recovery phase from his left ankle injury that he suffered in the late stages of the Olympique Lyonnais fixture last month. PSG has kept him out of every fixture since then while also monitoring his progress from the injury.

The Brazilian is back in training with the team but still is not ready to take part in match action.

PSG did receive some positive news as multiple players returned to training, including Mauro Icardi (adductor) and Alessandro Florenzi (ankle). The two not only made their returns to feature in the recent scheduled training session but have been ruled as eligible to play against Brest.

PSG is continuing to recover from its recent mini injury crisis.
