Report: Marquinhos and Navas Left PSG’s Ligue 1 Fixture Against Montpellier Due to Injury

Paris Saint-Germain simply can not have a period in which the team is fully fit and healthy across the board.

During PSG’s league fixture against Montpellier, the club saw two of its key players leave the match due to injury.

PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas was subbed off at halftime as manager Mauricio Pochettino elected to bring on backup goalkeeper Sergio Rico in his place.

RMC Sport notes that Navas left the match as a result of an injury, although there is no word just yet as to what the Costa Rican goalkeeper is now dealing with.

Marquinhos was unable to continue through with the match as well. Just minutes after the second half began, Pochettino subbed the Brazilian off with German defender Thilo Kehrer coming in to take his place out at the center-back position.

RMC Sport notes that Marquinhos is dealing with slight muscle discomfort.

PSG sure hopes that neither came away from the fixture with a serious injury.
