Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa delivered for the team in its recent Ligue 1 away fixture against Angers. In a fixture where PSG struggled to create multiple high percentage goal-scoring opportunities, the side came away with the win thanks to a goal by Layvin Kurzawa.
However, Kurzawa left the fixture late due to what was deemed to be a calf issue. Le Parisien notes that Kurzawa is dealing with discomfort in his calf, but this did not stop him from taking part in the team’s scheduled training session on Monday.
Kurzawa took part in the session and there have been no reports indicating on a possible setback, which is promising considering his history with slight injuries.
This is surely a positive sign as the club now looks ahead to the upcoming home league fixture against Montpellier. PSG could use the win to keep its current first-place standing in the league table.
