Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa delivered for the team in its recent Ligue 1 away fixture against Angers. In a fixture where PSG struggled to create multiple high-percentage goal-scoring opportunities, the side still managed to come away with a win thanks to a goal from Layvin Kurzawa.
However, Kurzawa left the fixture late due to what was deemed to be a calf issue.
Le Parisien notes that Kurzawa is dealing with discomfort in his calf, but this did not stop him from taking part in PSG’s scheduled training session on Monday. Kurzawa took part in the session and there have since been no reports noting a setback for the defender, which is promising considering his history of minor injuries.
This sure is a positive sign for PSG as it looks ahead to a Ligue 1 home fixture against Montpellier.
