Video: ‘We Will Never Leave PSG Like That’ – Chelsea Defender Is Hopeful to Play PSG in Champions League to Say Goodby to Supporters

Although Thiago Silva’s football career is taking him outside of Paris Saint-Germain, the current Chelsea FC defender continues to have capital club supporters in his heart and France, considering Silva is a French citizen.

In an interview with Canal Plus, Silva explained that he would support Les Parisiens from afar. Furthermore, the 36-year-old hopes that Chelsea and PSG’s paths cross in the UEFA Champions League, preferably in the final. Silva adds that he hopes to get to say goodbye to the supporters.

‘I am very happy at Chelsea. I hope to continue here for more than a year. My family is very happy here, but we are French. We will never leave PSG like that. I will continue to support them. I hope we can find ourselves in the Champions League final this year. And to say goodbye to the supporters, to whom I have not had the opportunity to say goodbye,” Silva said.

“Future, I don’t know. I think that ending my career and continuing as a coach is possible. Maybe in Chelsea, maybe in Paris or Milan, we don’t know. Goodbye to the supporters. Thanks for all the support. You’ve been amazing for eight years.”
