In a few days, the January transfer window will open up, and Paris Saint-Germain will have a month to address any squad issues. However, with the coronavirus pandemic affecting financial matters, it will be tough to make any significant additions.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel spoke to the media, where Sport.fr relayed his words over the winter transfer window. He hopes that the French team can bring in new recruits ahead of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup against FC Barcelona.
“We have to wait, know what we can do, how can we help the team, what eleven should we line up. We can think with the club if things are possible or not. The context is particular. It is not easy,” Tuchel said. “
“Now is not the time to ask for things, but you have to think and analyze to know if things are possible or not. If this is not the case, we will do everything possible to get players.”
