Presnel Kimpembe has been one of Paris Saint-Germain’s top performers this season. He has played a key role in PSG’s run to clinching its Champions League group along with its resurgence to the top of the table in Ligue 1. However, the French defender had a rare lowlight during the fixture against Lyon.
In PSG’s own half, Kimpembe essentially gave away possession as he was under no serious pressure from Lyon. It was clear miscommunication from both Kimpembe and midfielder Leandro Paredes as Rudi Garcia’s side immediately pounced on the opportunity to score for the 1-0 lead.
