Neymar and Mbappe’s dribbling prowess has not gone unnoticed this season. The two rank in the top five in dribbles per game over the Champions League group stage this season.
Neymar has logged a 4.0 dribbles per game average in the Champions League this season, which ranks second behind Lionel Messi’s 6.0 figure. The Brazilian has had some standout dribbling showings this season, including recording seven dribbles completed in PSG’s home group stage win against RB Leipzig. Overall, the forward’s 4.0 dribbles per game figure is down from his 6.1 such average last season in the competition.
On the other hand, Mbappe continues to develop as a stout dribbler as well. He has recorded a 3.8 dribbles per game figure in Champions League play over the ongoing campaign, which is significantly up from his 1.5 such average last season.
Neymar and Mbappe’s dribbling expertise is one reason as to why this pair is among the top attacking duos in the game today.
