As 2020 comes to an end, plenty of media outlets reflect on the year that was far from ordinary for many reasons. However, Foot Mercato is looking back on the top ten kits of 2020.
When Paris Saint-Germain announced their kit for the 2020-21 season, many expected their home and away kits to be a top seller, one that non-capital club supporters will want to get their hands on.
As Les Parisiens celebrate their 50th anniversary, their home kit has a retro touch to its design from their 1973-74 season, which is why Foot Mercato placed the 2020-21 home kit third in its rankings of best kits in 2020.
It’s the second year in a row, Nike has designed a PSG kit with a retro feel. Last year they had their away kit, but this time the American supplier created both home and away kits with a throwback touch.
The only two kits that the French media outlet ranks ahead of PSG is FC Barcelona’s away kit, a black and gold design, which they ranked second. In first place, they put a reissued retro Arsenal kit from their 1990-91 season.
