As 2020 comes to a close and everyone will be ringing 2021. The next few months to the new year are crucial for Paris Saint-Germain as they will try to extend the contracts of Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé.
Of the two, Neymar’s contract extension seems to be the one that will get down without much hassle. It’s why El Confidencial reports that both the Brazil international and the capital club have “an agreement already close.”
The Spanish media outlet didn’t offer any specifics or details. It seems more like a news dump as they speculated PSG’s interest in Manchester United FC midfielder Paul Pogba.
Nonetheless, many know that it’s not a matter of if, but when Les Parisiens extend Neymar because the 28-year-old is enjoying his time in the French capital.
Also, here’s no serious threat for him as not many clubs can’t afford to pay his annual wages. FC Barcelona has made countless threats to bringing him back to La Liga, but their current financial might present an issue causing Neymar to remain in PSG.
