When Paris Saint-Germain decided to let former captain Thiago Silva walk after his contract expired, the capital club not only lost a veteran defender but a leader on that backline.
Les Parisiens perhaps believed that Presnel Kimpembe was ready to take that next step and enter the world-class defender category. However, it doesn’t seem to be heading in that direction as the France international struggles anchoring a backline, mostly when Marquinhos plays in the midfield.
As a result, PSG is interested in bringing Real Madrid center-back Sergio Ramos, whose contract expires in June, according to El Chiringuito de Jugones.
The Spanish program states that the capital club is ready to offer a blank check to the 34-year-old.
