Report: Navas and Marquinhos Returned to Training on Monday Ahead of Champions League Fixture Against Manchester United

Paris Saint-Germain received good news on Monday as goalkeeper Keylor Navas and defender Marquinhos each featured in a scheduled training session, according to a report from L’Equipe.

Both players missed PSG’s recent Ligue 1 fixture against Bordeaux, which the team wound up dearly missing the pair in the contest. Navas was unavailable for precautionary reasons while Marquinhos missed the fixture due to a slight adductor issue.

The two PSG talents wound up not only featuring in Monday’s training session but also completed it without any serious reported injury setbacks. Thus, they each are expected to play in PSG’s upcoming UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Manchester United barring no setbacks before Wednesday.

PSG will hold another training session tomorrow where PSG manager Thomas Tuchel will likely make a final determination on the status of Marquinhos and Navas’ availability against Manchester United. But at the moment, PSG is slated to have both talents back for the crucial contest.
