Report: Mbappe Unlikely to Feature for the French National Team Against Finland

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is now currently on international duty with the French national team for its key November fixtures. France is slated to begin action with an international friendly against Finland, and as RMC Sport reports, Mbappe is not projected to feature in this contest.

Mbappe has already arrived to meet up with the French national team but did not take part in its collective training session on Monday. He is still dealing with complications to his hamstring, which is also why he missed PSG’s recent home league contest against Stade Rennais. However, Mbappe did work out separately with a physical trainer.

For now, Mbappe will not take part in the fixture against Finland. But the hope is that the forward will be available for France’s UEFA Nations League group stage fixtures against both Portugal and Sweden. With wins in both contests, France will move on to the Nations League knockout stage.
