Massimiliano Allegri reportedly continues to eye the managerial position at Inter Milan, a reality check for Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo who has long had his eyes on the Italian manager. Still, it seems as though being the second choice might cause the capital club to look elsewhere.
According to The Athletic, former Tottenham Hotspur Mauricio Pochettino is eyeing the position with Les Parisiens. Manager Thomas Tuchel is out of a contract after the 2020-21 season concludes, so the Argentine manager could be lying in the weeds, perhaps making a move to his former club.
Plenty of supporters have called for a change at the manager position due to the slow start. However, it doesn’t seem that Tuchel will be leaving Paris until his contract runs out.
Manchester United FC is another club linked in talks with the former Spurs manager, but as The Athletic states, the English club is backing their current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
