Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar made his UEFA Champions League debut during the 2013/2014 campaign while with FC Barcelona. He scored four Champions League goals over that season, including a score against Atletico Madrid in the quarterfinals round.
Since Neymar’s Champions League debut season, he has gone on to make his mark as one of the top players in the history of the competition. Overall, Neymar has attributed for 36 goals and 27 assists in 63 career games in the competition. The 36 such goals for Neymar is notable as since the 2013/2014 edition of the competition, only Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi have scored more Champions League goals than the Brazilian.

It should be expected that Neymar is behind these three talents in the Champions League goals leaderboard over this time period. But it is impressive that he ranks so high considering the number of games that he has missed due to injury and the fact that he has only made two Champions League runs that went beyond the quarterfinals stage.
Expect Neymar to add to this Champions League goals total over this season.
