‘He Will Be Ready and Will Be Available’ – France National Team Manager on Mbappé Playing Against Sweden

Despite having muscle discomfort in his right thigh, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé will not be joining some of his teammates returning from international duty early to the French capital because of injury.

In fact, France National Team manager Didier Deschamps is counting on the 21-year-old being available for their UEFA Nations League matchup against Sweden on Tuesday when speaking to the media

After France’s 1-0 win over Portugal, Deschamps provided an update on the status of Mbappé, where he made it known that he’s counting on the PSG forward.

“He is keen on it. He will be ready and will be available,” Deschamps said. “He had a session today, which validates a bit of everything. Tomorrow (Sunday), he will do the collective session.”
