After an early open goal miss in the first half against Croatia, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe wound up redeeming himself for the French national team.
In the late stages of the second half, Everton left-back Lucas Digne sent in an aerial ball over to a waiting Mbappe, who slotted in the attempt for a goal to put France up 2-1.
