With France already up 1-0 in its crucial UEFA Nations League fixture against Croatia, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe had an opportunity to essentially ice the game with a goal. But the French forward failed to capitalize in what turned out to be one of the biggest misses of his career.
With Anthony Martial able to drag Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic off of his line, he wound up creating a clear-cut chance for Mbappe. The PSG superstar ended up wasting the open goal chance by sending the ball wide right.
