Video: ‘He’s Really a Very Interesting Player’ – French Football Pundit on the Qualities Pereira Will Bring To PSG

Danilo Pereira, an essential player for FC Porto in Portugal, is reportedly heading to Paris Saint-Germain on loan with an option to buy, according to RMC Sport. The Portuguese international should contribute a different profile to the one that manager Thomas Tuchel already has in his squad.

RMC Sport consultant Kévin Díaz knows Pereira well. He also praises his qualities and believes that it is a real achievement for PSG as it allows Marquinhos to remain at central defense.

“He’s really a very interesting player. He has matured a lot. He’s the captain of FC Porto. He knows the experience of high level. In terms of purely footballing qualities, he is very tall, 1m88, he is very strong physically, very powerful,” Diaz said.

“He is a very good player in the aerial field, which may have been lacking at PSG. Technically, he’s still a Portuguese player, very well trained, he’s comfortable with the ball, he has a good long game, and a good shot continues Diaz. He’s a real modern midfielder, a real recuperator, a real good player. He is clearly in the profile of Thiago Motta. He really plays six in midfield, and could compensate for the deficiencies of the Parisian midfielder.”
