Faced with Brazil’s victory over Peru with a hat-trick last night, which left a score of 4-2, Neymar Jr marked his history by surpassing Ronaldo in the ranking of scorers for the Brazil National Team. The Paris Saint-Germain star now has a total of 64 goals with the Seleção.
For now, Pelé remains ahead with 77 goals. But for now, Eric Di Meco, who was on the “Super Moscato Show,” believes that the capital club forward is not yet the best player in his country’s history.
“When I say that Neymar is not in the ten best Brazilian players in history, that does not mean that he sucks, but that means that it is a country that has generated monsters! Neymar’s problem is that for the moment, he has not done as some,” Di Meco said. “For example, for me, Brazil are favorites in the last World Cup; they don’t even make it to the semi-finals. If he does not win Brazil, well, he will not be in the ten.
🗣💬 "Le Brésil c'est un pays qui a généré des monstres. Neymar n'est même pas dans le TOP 10 des meilleurs Brésiliens de l'histoire"
