Verratti Backs the Signings of Florenzi and Kean

Paris Saint-Germain bolstered its depth over the recent transfer window, as it added Everton forward Moise Kean and AS Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi. Both signings are season-long loan moves, although PSG will have the opportunity to sign Florenzi on a permanent transfer deal.

Verratti is well familiar with both talents. He has played alongside each one over with the Italian national team. The PSG midfielder has much more experience playing with Florenzi but also knows what Kean can bring to a team like PSG. He talked about each player during a recent press conference (via Tuttosport) while with the Italian national team.

“I am happy that Florenzi and Kean have arrived at PSG,” Verratti said. “I am very attached to Alessandro and I am happy to play with him; Moise needs a further step to become even stronger.”

Florenzi already made his PSG debut and is currently one of the team’s top in-form players. Kean is slated to make his first appearance with the club following the international break. PSG hopes each player can become quality contributors this season, especially with the heavy congestion of fixtures upcoming.
