Report: Ligue 1 Clubs Lens and Brest Interested in Signing Kalimuendo on a Loan Deal

Paris Saint-Germain prospect Arnaud Kalimuendo is certainly hoping for playing time with a first-team this season. Now, two clubs are showing interest in signing the talent and providing him with the playing time needed to prove his worth.

Ligue 1 clubs Lens and Brest are both showing an early interest in signing forward Kalimuendo, according to a report from RMC Sport‘s Loic Tanzi. Both clubs are intrigued by the possibility of signing the prospect on a season-long loan deal. So far, neither side is close to coming to terms on an agreement with PSG for the talent.

PSG is hoping Kalimuendo can earn first-team minutes this season, but just not with them. The club has reportedly been interested in signing Kalimuendo on a contract extension deal and then sending him off to another club for this season on a loan move. Thus, Lens, Brest or any other club interested in the forward likely will not have the chance to sign the talent away on a permanent transfer deal.
